How to book an activity?

You can book activities online by visiting the page of the activity of your choice on our website and using the booking form located at the end of the page. The booking system shows all the available tours. We kindly ask you to use our online system and send requests through contact forms and email only with private tour booking.

Can I join you just for a farm visit?

Yes! Our farm visits are arranged in co-operation with Jänkä Resort, offering the possibility to meet all the animals at the property – our huskies and horses combined with Resort’s reindeer and horses.

Do you have any reindeer activities?

Unfortunately, Konijänkkä no longer owns any reindeer. Our farm does not arrange any reindeer activities.

How early should I arrive to Konijänkkä before my activity?

We kindly ask you to arrive no earlier than just 5 minutes before the start of the activity – our hands are quite full with preparations just before the tour, but we would love to chat more with you afterwards! You may wait at Jänkä Resort main building reception hall for our guide to pick you up.

Why am I not able to book an activity?

It is likely that we have no availability for your desired date in the activity you are trying to book. Some of our activities might be fully sold out during high season, or the traffic in other activities might prevent us from offering regular tours in less popular activities. Some of our tours are also not available throughout the year (see the product description in the activity’s booking window). However, you may inquire the possibility for private tours, it is likely that we are able to host singular private tours even if the online booking is closed. Contact us and we’ll see how it looks like!

What kind of horses does Konijänkkä have?

Our herd consists of a variety of ponies and horses of different sizes. Most of our horses are born and raised at Konijänkkä, representing several generations of sure-footed horses. The horses used on our trail rides are mostly large ponies and medium-sized horses, such as Connemara ponies, Finnhorses, and different crossbreeds. The height typically ranges from about 140 to 165 cm.

For the youngest riders, we have Ella — a charming Shetland pony who never fails to delight.

Is there a weight limit for riders?

We recommend our riding activities for participants whose weight does not significantly exceed 80 kg. Most of Konijänkkä’s horses are small to medium-sized, so following this general guideline allows us to ensure that every rider has a horse of suitable size for the tour.
